My practice is based on existential theory which proposes that people have the freedom and responsibility to make our own choices and therefore make our own meaning of experiences. I firmly believe in the connection of mind and body. Therefore, I attend to physiological needs as well as psychological needs using polyvagal theory. Combining positive psychology and polyvagal theory with narrative, cognitive behavior, and dialectical behavior therapy ensures that each client's specific needs are met. Treatment techniques are determined on an individual basis, allowing each client to receive treatment that best suits them so that he/she/they can feel secure throughout the entire therapeutic process.
